Jade Moriarty is a certified public accountant and is extremely proficient in mathematics. Her favourite being algebra. She handles Shirleigh's taxes and gives her financial advice that often goes unheard. She has a relaxed personality and carries a professional air about her.
Moriarty is eventually turned into a vampire by an unknown entity, causing her to disappear for weeks as she attempts to isolate herself from others. Unable to resist the urges any longer, bodies start turning up drained of their blood. Shirleigh and Juniper will eventually end up taking this case.
Jade was a fun experiment of silhouetting. When I was making this reference sheet, I wanted her suit to give a unique silhouette to match her hair. I think the chunky shoes, flared pants, and peplum top are all simple but effective in doing this. I'm hoping it also conveys "I am a businesswoman, but a fun businesswoman!".
Her accessories in particular were very fun to design. Making them all math-related was a joy.
